Just as agriculture can be used to stabilize ruralism and the edge of our urban areas, similarly landscaping can stabilize agriculture. We at nature senses were lucky to have the expertise of Mr Blanny D’souza who promoted the “new ruralism.” His prime focus was on developing landscapes which can allow in the sustainability and keeping nature in its purest form, rather than letting the edges of our cities sprawl out into suburbia and gobbling agricultural lands. Blanny D’souza’s skill set of the landscape architecture comes from his enormous experience of 20 years where he dedicated in understanding both the human and large scales, native ecologies, topography to create seamless living landscapes that adapt and change. He came up with using land for tactical interventions that can improve biodiversity and water usage with a simple principle based on holistic design.
